The Project Group Revision GeoInfoDoc introduces itself
The AdV Project Group Revision GeoInfoDoc (formerly the AAA Revision Committee) is responsible for the maintenance, quality assurance and technical evolution of the GeoInfoDoc.
The group processes technical and model-related change requests for:
- the AAA basic scheme and the overall concept,
- the thematic schemas AFIS, ALKIS and ATKIS,
- land cover and land use,
- the standards-based exchange interface NAS with the corresponding schema files,
- associated object type catalogs, documentation and editing tools.
Our tasks at a glance
The PG accepts revision requests from the Laender, the AdV committees, thematic administrations, software manufacturers and other users, reviews and evaluates them and documents them in the AAA ticket system. A distinction is made as to whether these are error corrections, editorial adjustments or professional and technical developments. Changes are coordinated with the responsible AdV committees and other parties involved and necessary decisions are prepared.
Decided changes are incorporated into the UML application schema and the associated normative documents. The project group ensures the consistency of the various components of the GeoInfoDoc and supports the publication of new revision statuses and versions on the AdV website.
In this way, the committee makes a significant contribution to the transparent and long-term maintenance of the GeoInfoDoc. It ensures that errors are comprehensibly eliminated, necessary further developments are coordinated and the nationwide uniform application of the AAA model is permanently ensured.
