Central Office SAPOS®

Authorised by the Laender the Central Office SAPOS^® has successfully acted for many years as the central point of contact and negotiating partner for customers operating nationwide. The Central Office is located in Hanover at the Agency for Geoinformation and State Survey of Lower Saxony (LGLN).

The main tasks of the Central Office SAPOS^® are

• nationwide provision of the SAPOS^® HEPS via a central NTRIP caster
• granting of usage rights and their billing for customers operating across borders or throughout Germany
• Provision and distribution of the SAPOS^® Reference station data streams for operators of GNSS correction data services
• development of nationwide uniformity SAPOS^®-Standards and ensuring service and data quality
• initiation and coordination of research projects SAPOS^®-Environment
• representation of the AdV in the international standardization committee RTCM (Radio Technical Commission for Maritime Services) 
• public relations and marketing for SAPOS^® - Participation in trade fairs and conferences
