Privacy Policy

Legal basis

Working Committee of the Surveying Authorities of the Laender of the Federal Republic of Germany (AdV) provides telemedia within the meaning of the Telemedia Act (TMG). The AdV is subject to the provisions of the TMG in the currently valid version. The provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) in the currently valid version also apply.

Storage of customer data

You are free to decide whether to give us your personal data, for example by sending us an email. Your information will be stored electronically on protected servers in Germany and processed in accordance with the Federal Data Protection Act. Access to the servers is only possible for a few authorized people who are responsible for their technical support.

Data protection

Data is the basis for us to provide excellent service. But our most important capital is the trust of our customers. Protecting customer data and only using it in the way our customers expect from us is our top priority. We ensure technically and organizationally that data protection regulations are adhered to. It is also important to us that you know at all times when we store which data and how we use it. Your visit to our websites will be logged. Each time an Internet file is requested, the following access data is only recorded temporarily.

  • anonymized IP address
  • type and version of your Internet browser
  • operating system used
  • the page accessed
  • the previously visited page (referrer URL)
  • time of server request.

Stored data will be 

  • evaluated for statistical purposes
  • stored for the processing of contractual relationships
  • to optimize and secure our internet offering
  • and used to receive communications (e-mail to us).

We use your data not for the purpose of direct advertising or profile creation.

For inquiries via email, the information will only be used to process the inquiry. No email addresses will be passed on to third parties or used by us in any other way.

We delete your personal data as soon as they are no longer required for the purposes mentioned above. We also store your personal data to the extent we are legally obliged to do so.

Maintaining data confidentiality

The employees entrusted with the processing of personal data and the employees of the companies commissioned by the AdV are obliged to maintain data secrecy. Technical and organizational measures have been taken so that data protection regulations are also observed by external service providers. For these reasons, it is not possible to pass on personal data to third parties.

Encryption

Please note that your email message is not automatically encrypted. We would like to point out that without encryption, it cannot be ruled out that third partiesmay view your message. If we can determine from your email that you would like a response, you will also receive our response as an unencrypted email. We will carry out encryption if our response requires encryption due to its content.

Right to information, correction, blocking, deletion and objection

You have the right to receive information about your personal data stored by us at any time. You also have the right to correct, block or delete your personal data. Please contact us about this. You can find the contact details below.

To ensure a blocking of data can be taken into account at any time, this data must be kept in a restriction file for monitoring purposes. You can also request the deletion of the data, provided there is no legal archiving obligation. If such an obligation exists, we will block your data upon request. You may make changes or revoke your consent with effect for the future by notifying us accordingly

Changes to data protection regulations

We regularly adapt our data protection declaration to current circumstances to ensure it complies with latest legal requirements or to implement changes to our services in the data protection declaration, e. g. B. when introducing new services. Therefore, please note the most recent data protection declaration.
