Digital Terrain Model 200 (DGM200)

The Digital Terrain Model 200 (DGM200) describes the landforms of the Earth’s surface using a number of points georeferenced by position and height arranged in a regular grid which can be enhanced by structure elements (e.g. scarps, structure lines, distinctive topographic points).
The grid width at this model with low resolution is 200 m.

The height precision of the grid points depends on the terrain type: +/- 10 up to 40 m.
