digital terrain model 1000 (DGM1000)
The Digital Terrain Model 1000 (DGM1000) describes the landforms of the Earth’s surface using a number of points georeferenced by position and height arranged in a regular grid which can be enhanced by structure elements (e.g. scarps, structure lines, distinctive topographic points).
The grid width at this model with low resolution is 30" x 50" (ca. 1 km x 1 km).
