Central Distribution Agencies of Germany's official survey appear together in their product information using the logo GeoBasis-DE. GeoBasis-DE conveys security and transparency because it represents the official nature of the data. In addition, GeoBasis-DE is used as a copyright notice for nationwide licensing of geospatial reference data and geospatial data services. This increases the recognition value of the entire brand management in the AdV.

The Central Distribution Agencies bundle selected follow-up products from the Laender into nationwide data sets and provide them on behalf of the Laender in a quality-assured manner with uniform fees and licenses. They therefore serve as a central point of contact for customers who need nationwide geospatial reference data.

With the AdV Fee Directive, the AdV has created a uniform fee model for the nationwide provision and use of geospatial reference data and geospatial data services, which is applied by the Central Distribution Agencies. In addition, the AdV provides uniform contract text modules that are used by the AdV's Central Distribution Agencies for purchase and usage agreements with customers.
