AdV chairwoman Karin Schultze
Ministerialdirigentin Karin Schultze from Saxony-Anhalt took over the chairmanship of the Working Group of Surveying Authorities of the Laender of the Federal Republic of Germany (AdV) on 1 January 2024.With effect from 1 January 2024, the chairmanship of the Working Group of Surveying Administrations of the Laender of the Federal Republic of Germany (AdV) moved from Brandenburg to Saxony-Anhalt. The new chairwoman for 2024 and 2025 is Ministerialdirigentin Karin Schultze from the Ministry for Infrastructure and Digital Affairs of the State of Saxony-Anhalt.
Karin Schultze is head of the department Digital Society and Geoinformation of this ministry. The focus of her department includes authoritative surveying and geoinformation, geodata infrastructure, official real estate valuation, the official spatial planning information system, demographic development, digital strategy and digital infrastructures.
After studying at the Technische Universität Dresden, she completed her technical traineeship in Lower Saxony. Her professional career over more than 25 years included field surveys for a publicly appointed surveyor as well as various management positions in the surveying and geoinformation administration of the Ministry for Infrastructure and Digital Affairs of the Land Saxony-Anhalt. She has been head of department there since 2020.
Karin Schultze has been engaged in the AdV plenary session for the Land Saxony-Anhalt since 2011. Here she was involved, among other things, in the further development of strategies relating to the cross-border provision of geospatial reference data and future topics. Karin Schultze has also been an examiner at the higher examination office for the technical traineeship since 2011; since 2017 she represents the Land Saxony-Anhalt on its board of trustees. She was also the country's representative on the Geobasis steering committee.
